18th March - My Dear Celia, This is the anniversary of your funeral. The weather that day was really lovely, a sunny and warm spring day. So many of our family and friends were there, and looking around to see people that we have known over those years, it made me realise just how you were thought of, true friends some over many, many years, some more recent, but all there to remember a trusted and respected person, that they in some way had come to know. But it has left me broken hearted, with now only so many "Happy Memories" of our lives shared together overall those years, what a blessing!! "Some thoughts on our Wedding Anniversary" My Dearest Celia, This is our wedding anniversary, 8th September, 57 years, these years filled with so many "Happy memories", a lifetime spent with the person I truly loved and always felt so loved by, a shared life in every sense of the word. Times of laughter, times of tears, but always shared together, really one flesh, and that is the reason that I miss you so much now, I know that a part of me is missing. You darling were a wonderful wife to me and a good mother to our children, and as for the grandchildren, there was nobody like their Grandma!! So darling reflections at this time, this "vacancy" that cannot be filled, but a life that it has been a pleasure to share, fulfilled in every way, because of our love for each other.
